Chris has designed and built a private mix room custom acoustic treatments and has installed bespoke analogue and digital gear in a hybrid setup so he can seamlessly mix across music, film and TV projects.

Mixing
One of Chris’s passions is to capture amazing orchestras, ensembles and choirs not just in the studio, but also in churches, halls and anywhere the musicians enjoy performing.
Chris has spent his whole career learning the craft of recording orchestral, choral and ensemble performances in spaces that are comfortable and familiar to the musicians while also sounding fantastic.
Chris has put together a high-end recording rig that that includes specialised microphones for this style of recording. This setup combined with Chris’s extensive knowledge of microphone technique and placement allows Chris to capture the essence of the performance coupled with the unique sound of the space.

Chris has extensive experience working across the sound and music departments on feature films and television series including as a sound mixer, score recording engineer and Sound Designer / FX Editor.
